Did you know…
 

  • The Hillsborough Arts Council generates over $80,000 in income each year to 65+ artists in our local community.

  • Through the Gallery & Gift Shop, we’re able to nurture and support emerging artists in nearly every medium. 

  • We welcome over 12,000 guests annually to explore and shop more than 2,000 unique artworks for sale in our prime location in downtown Hillsborough, NC. 

  • Plus, HAC serves as a tourist destination for many first-time visitors, advocating for the other galleries, boutiques, music venues, restaurants, events, and arts partners that surround our Gallery & Gift Shop. 

 

A lot of impact for only 1,200 square feet of physical space! 


And we’re not done growing. Our vision is to expand our representation of the Hillsborough community as a flourishing artists haven, a safe space for creativity, and a welcoming home for ALL backgrounds.
